Looking After Each Other

With social distancing and self-isolation, it's all too easy to feel alone. We highlight the importance of looking after each other to overcome challenging times.

Stay home, save lives

The government recently launched a vital campaign update, requiring everyone to stay at home to help combat the spread of coronavirus. These measures may seem extreme, but they provide the best prospect of decreasing the scale of exposure.

Volunteer your time

NHS Volunteer Responders is a new group that will support people who are highly vulnerable to coronavirus because of underlying health conditions. Responders will assist the NHS in vital tasks such as delivering food and medication. Find out more about the volunteer group here.

Keep in touch

Although necessary, social isolation can be lonely. Help decrease anxiety levels by keeping in regular contact with friends and family. This can significantly boost your mood, reduce stress levels and help you feel more supported.

Spread positivity

With the situation rapidly developing it's easy to get caught up in a bad news web. Escape the spiral by spreading positivity instead. Try sending supportive messages to your co-workers or sharing uplifting stories you've seen with friends and family.
