Often referred to by its brand name ‘Dibond’, aluminium composite panel printing offers a long-lasting signage solution that won’t fade or falter under harsh weather conditions or direct sunlight. Aluminium signs are popular because they offer exceptional print quality, a unique finish, are fully size customisable and can be recycled.

We use the latest inkjet printing technology to print your designs directly on to metal.

Top tip: We print your CMYK image straight on to the textured silver surface. Therefore your image will take on the texture and metallic nature of the surface. This adds depth to solid colours and imagery. Avoid using text smaller than 12pt to ensure it is legible. Any white areas in your artwork will appear silver.

Do you require a custom shape?

If you would like a shape other than a square or rectangle (straight cut) or you would like multiple designs cut out of a sheet. Then create your artwork to match your chosen dimensions ensuring you supply us with a cutting guide. More information on how to supply this correctly can be found in the hints and tips section.

Please note: These signs are metal, therefore can have sharp edges. We will pack your order to ensure it arrives safely. Please take care when unpacking and installing your sign.

Can I print on both sides of the sign?

Due to the brushed finish only being on one side we can only offer a single sided print on this product.

Are brushed aluminium signs waterproof?

Aluminium signs are waterproof and so are the inks that we use to print on them. This makes them perfectly suitable for the outdoors.

How do I clean my aluminium sign?

Brushed aluminium signs can be cleaned easily using a weak soloution of dish washing soap and water. Please ensure you dry them with a clean soft cloth afterwards.

What shapes do you offer?

Pretty much any shape you like!

In addition to our standard square cut option, we can also cut custom shapes to fit your artwork e.g.circles, clouds, rounded corners. If you choose this option, make sure to include a cutter guide. For more information, see our hints and tips. - As these signs are metal we ask you to avoid sharp corners in your design, e.g. a star shape. Always round off the corners to ensure smooth, safe edges.

How long will my sign last?

Though our aluminium panels are printing using waterproof and fade-resistant inks, this largely depends on its exposure to elements such as rain / sunlight. If the panel is situated indoors it can last for around 10 years, however if it is outside and subjected to British weather, it will last for around 5.

How do I fix my sign?

You can affix these signs to most surfaces. Please ensure you have any additional fixings that you need. We recommend screws for maximum duarbility. You can drill brushed dibond panels easily using a conventional drill or we can drill 4 x 5mm holes for you (one in each corner) if you have chosen a square-cut sign.
